Nanae - redone

HOLY cow, I finished a picture! o_o Sheez, it's been over a month. I was beginning to wonder if my new sketchbook was cursed or something! *flail*

If you couldn't tell, Nanae is an Inuyasha character, the second child of Inuyasha and Kagome. Have I mentioned ever before that I LOVE drawing enormous bows? It's FUN! Nanae is from a fic that never really got off the ground. It was a story that was supposed to take place some 25 years after the original series, and featured the offspring of the main characters: Kazuki and Nanae (Inuyasha/Kagome), Asayo and Asoye (Miroku/Sango), and Fusatake (Kouga/Ayame). Basically the kids are searching for the spot where the Shikon Jewel had been hidden, because (for a reason I seem to have forgotten), it could not be entirely purified. So it was entrusted to Kikyou who went to a secret location and sealed the jewel and herself. The kids want to find the jewel, believing it will be useful in ridding Japan of a dangerous demon hunter, as well as strange visitors from another continent.

Nanae herself is tomboyish and short tempered. Eventually she inherits Tetsusaiga, because her older brother Kazuki does not want it. While she's younger, she fights with hand-held axes, seen here. :3
